Our delivery process explained
At Door Supplies Online we aim to make delivery as straightforward as possible. Below you will find all the key information about our delivery services.
Processing & Standard Delivery
- All orders are processed within 8 working hours (Monday–Friday, excluding bank holidays).
- Standard delivery for in-stock items is usually 3–5 working days (depending on location and order size).
- Delivery takes place between 8am and 6:30pm.
- If your items are not immediately in stock, we will advise you of the expected lead time when confirming your order.
- Some orders may come directly from our suppliers, so you may receive multiple deliveries if your order includes products from different manufacturers.
Key delivery information
Next Day Delivery
- Certain items are available with Next Day Delivery – availability will be shown at checkout.
- Orders must be placed before 10:30am Monday–Friday to qualify.
- Deliveries take place the following working day between 8am and 7pm.
- Orders placed after 10:30am on Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
Please note: this service is express and no delivery time window can be guaranteed.
Delivery Address & Security
For security reasons, we can only deliver to the cardholder’s address used for payment.
Delivery Method
- Deliveries are made by external couriers to the kerbside only.
- Drivers are not insured to carry goods into your property.
- Please arrange adequate assistance for heavy items (many products weigh over 25kg).
Failed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be made due to reasons under your control:
- A re-delivery charge will apply.
- We may store the goods and charge for storage and insurance.
- If goods are rejected or not taken, a 30% handling fee may be charged by the manufacturer.
Checking Your Goods on Delivery
- Please inspect all items carefully upon delivery.
- Open packaging and check for damage before signing. Drivers should allow up to 15 minutes for inspection.
- If products are damaged or incorrect, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately on 01603 622261.
- If part of your order is missing, sign only for the items you receive.
- Report any damages not noticed at delivery within 3 days.
Important Notes
- We recommend not booking installers until your order has arrived and been checked. Door Supplies Online cannot accept liability for costs arising from late or damaged deliveries.
- Natural delays (vehicle faults, supplier issues, public holidays, or external factors such as COVID-19) may affect delivery. We will keep you informed of any delays and give you the option to cancel if necessary.
- Any orders placed over the phone are subject to the same terms and conditions published on our website.
